The Moon Under Water Brewery and Pub COVID-19 Strategy

The Moon Under Water Brew Pub and Distillery Lounge are currently open to dine-in restaurant style service for both indoor and outdoor dining.
Please note, customers are still invited to purchase take-out food, beer, growlers, merchandise, and spirits from the indoor Distillery Lounge and Pub areas when following Healthy Authority protocol.
We are offering dine-in restaurant style service on all spaces following the Health and Safety Guidelines and best practices provided by WorkSafeBC. We have taken specific measures to provide our valued customers with a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience at the The Moon Under Water Brew Pub and Distillery Lounge.
The following procedures and practices have been put in place to protect our guests and employees:
Mandatory wearing of masks. Guests are permitted to not wear a mask when seated at their table eating and/or drinking. Masks are mandatory for guests that get up from their table to use the washroom or if guests are moving to or from their table for any reason. The order does not apply to children under the age of two.
Social distancing of tables measured 6 feet apart.
All tables limited to 6 or less guests.
All customer tables will have hand sanitizer on the table for customer use.
No utensils, menus, or condiments will be placed on the tables. These will be supplied to the customers as needed and sanitized after each use.
Brand new menus have been printed and laminated. The menus will be sanitized after each use.
Debit machines sanitized after each use.
Tables sanitized after each use.
Washrooms will be cleaned and sanitized hourly.
Staff health checks are in place prior to each shift. Any staff member presenting any concerning symptoms will be sent home.
Personal Protective Equipment will be available for staff upon request.
Signage for customers stating social distancing rules, health checks, sanitization stations, and procedures will be displayed.
Growler fills will be offered by sanitizing the Growler before filling and sanitizing taps before and after each Growler fill.
Limiting the use of tableware and switching to disposable containers when possible.
Additional Personal Protective Equipment will be provided to dishwashing staff.
Contact Tracing is conducted for all customers that visit the Moon Under Water.
Guest capacity monitoring.
Additional staff hired to manage outdoor line-ups at busier times to ensure social distancing procedures.
We are also offering Hand Sanitizer made by Moon Distilling Co. for purchase in the following formats: 24 oz Spray Bottles, 4 Litre Jugs with Pumps, and 400 mL tetra packs.
